“Wow! Ariel, I never knew you were such a hidden noble lady!”

In the dormitory, Mira saw the maid Ariel had brought back, and her mouth gaped open wide enough to fit an ostrich egg.

Aside from Ariel, only Evelyn and a few trusted demons knew that this maid was actually the former “Glorious Hero” Brian.

Of course, Ariel was unaware that Lise also knew all of this and kept it a secret, burying it deep in her heart.

“Mira, let me introduce you. This is the maid I picked up from the roadside. I think her name is Brienne.”

Brienne stood with her head bowed, her long eyelashes obscuring her empty eyes.

Brian’s once-powerful weapon for attracting women—his dazzling long blonde hair—has now been shaved down to shoulder length by Ariel.

Upon discovering that Brienne’s hair had grown out of its original length, and that the ends had naturally curled like her own, Ariel curled Brienne’s hair into a gentle arc and tied it with a pure white ribbon bow.

Brienne’s face no longer showed any male features, except for some remnants of Brian’s appearance between her brows.

Brienne’s skin was much whiter than before, even pale, her nose was more prominent, and her lips were a pale cherry color.

If you don’t have a first impression of Brian, this is a pitiful, quiet, and empty pretty face.

Brienne donned the maid outfit kindly provided by Evelyn. The black maid dress and white lace apron clung to her waist, outlining the curves of her female figure.

Her neckline was tied with a black ribbon, and her chest was barely adequate compared to her mistress, Ariel. Her calves, which peeked out from under her skirt, were encased in pure white stockings, and her small feet were tucked into black maid shoes.

Mira hopped and skipped around Brienne a few times, her little eyes filled with curiosity.

Although Brienne was very beautiful, Mira always felt that she had a strange doll-like quality, radiating an inexplicable vitality.

Mira sat in a restaurant chair and said with a smile:

“I also want to pick up a maid on the street! Ariel, how did you find her? I want to try it sometime!”

Having spent almost two semesters with Mila, her thoughts are all too easy to guess.

Ariel could tell that Mira had never believed her story of “picking up a maid.”

But it’s okay, I’ve prepared several other excuses to deal with the people around me.

If the story can’t be believed by Mira, then no one around will believe it either, so it’s a good opportunity to test it on Mira one by one.

“well……”

Ariel sat opposite Mira, her chin resting on her hands, her eyes inexplicably reflecting a white light from somewhere:

“You found out after all, Mira. To be honest, Brienne is an automaton I bought. That’s how it was registered at the academy.”

The all-powerful Evelyn meticulously planned the entire performance, teaching Brienne how to pass the House’s security checks by pretending to be an automaton. Coupled with the House’s lax security, this allowed Brienne to successfully enter the House and be taken to her dormitory.

“Automaton!”

Mira clapped her hands and burst into laughter:

“I knew it! I guessed right! Heh heh, looks like I can become the famous detective Mira and join the court to solve tons of big cases!”

Ariel smiled, unwilling to shatter Mira’s beautiful fantasy.

Mira looked up at Brienne’s empty eyes and asked:

“Ariel, what can she do as a maid?”

Brienne remained motionless, showing no reaction to Mira’s gaze or their conversation, her hand unconsciously resting on her waist as if she were still holding the Holy Sword.

In fact, the hero’s party cannot bring any weapons when they go to see the king, so the Holy Sword is still in the stronghold.

It seems that even though her mind has been reshaped by the potion, Brienne still harbors a deep-seated longing for the Holy Sword.

“Hmm… I don’t know either. After all, it’s a newly bought doll, and I still need to learn about maid-related things.”

Mira nodded happily:

“Yes. If she learns to cook, Ariel won’t have to get up early every day to prepare ingredients, and she can sleep in!”

Mila’s words touched Ariel’s heart somewhat.

She really has a childlike personality; the way she speaks is quite unexpected and endearing…

Ariel couldn’t resist touching Mira’s messy hair; the soft texture seemed to reach right to her forehead.

“Hmm…then let’s start from…”

Ariel glanced around.

He originally wanted Brienne to come with him to learn how to cook.

But she knew perfectly well that Brian couldn’t cook and had never even stepped into a kitchen. All the housework at the base was done by the girls.

Brian is capable of weeding and moving heavy objects.

Let’s not let Brienne learn to cook first; let’s just have a nice dinner tonight…

The floor was covered with nut shells that Mila had carelessly discarded while eating nuts, so I decided to see if she could do the simplest task of sweeping.

“Brennie, clean the floor.”

“Ariel commanded.”

Brienne finally made her move. She looked around, then slowly walked to the brooms standing in the corner, reached out and picked up one of the two cleanest brooms, gripping the oak handle tightly with both hands.

“Hey! Why did you pick up my magic broom!”

Mira jumped up and pointed at Brienne.

It turns out that because magic brooms and floor brooms look similar, and witches wouldn’t mistake them, Ariel and Mira usually keep their magic brooms and floor brooms together.

In comparison, the material of a broom is even better; at least the wooden handle won’t have splinters that prick your hands.

Ariel’s eyes widened as she looked on, and she quickly gave the order:

“Not this broom, Brienne, it’s the one on the far right, the dirty one.”

Even if Brian’s emotions were temporarily suppressed by Eve after his gender reassignment, surely he wouldn’t be unable to distinguish between a witch’s broom and a regular broom!

Brienne paused, her body stiffening like a doll, her other hand immediately trying to draw the holy sword.

Then, she put Mira’s magic broom back in its original place, finally took out the broom, held the middle of the broom with both hands, and pressed the broom bristles firmly into the ground in a posture like inserting a sword into the ground, and clumsily began to sweep.

Brienne’s wrists were stiff, and she used her shoulders to move the broom. It was less like sweeping and more like pushing and pulling on the floor.

The dust and trash were not gathered together, but were instead swept around by the broom. As they slid, some of the dust and trash would disperse and remain in place, leaving indescribable marks on the ground.

Moreover, Brienne’s “cleaning” was completely haphazard; she would simply clean wherever she saw dirt. Naturally, the areas she had cleaned were dirtier, so she would endlessly redo them.

After cleaning for a long time, it still couldn’t get off the small patch of ground that was originally nearby.

“Wow…”

Mira rested her chin on her hand, her eyes unblinking, somewhat surprised:

“She looks like she’s sweeping very diligently? But, Alyssa, why does that patch of floor look even messier than before? It seems like I swept it worse than she did…”

“stop.”

Ariel’s brow furrowed more and more as she watched Brienne’s movements.

Brian, you can’t even sweep the floor properly?!
