- The Mad Heiress Played Innocent, and the Third Master Fell Hard
- Chapter 36 - Why can Jiang Yuhuai get in, but he can't?
Just then, a noise came from the doorway.
“Butler, don’t all these flowers look the same? I’ve searched almost the entire garden before I found these two.”
The group couldn’t help but look up.
The butler looked serious and carefully examined the plants before nodding. “They are the two potted plants that Young Master Lu mentioned.”
Jiangxi nodded, “Okay, I’ll carry it upstairs.”
He stepped inside and discovered that there were quite a few people sitting in the living room.
Upon recognizing who was sitting there, Jiangxi stumbled, nearly dropping the two potted plants in his hands.
When he came in, Wen Ni immediately recognized what kind of flowers he was holding.
Almost instantly, she subconsciously looked at Yu Guiwan.
Yu Guiwan slowly ate the cake on her plate and looked over.
She mumbled, “For me?”
Hearing the voice, Jiangxi came back to his senses and said, “Yes, Young Master Lu said he wants to change the flowers in your room.”
Yu Guiwan glanced at the two potted plants. “Oh, then go and change them.”
Her voice was still soft and sweet.
Jiangxi: “…”
He glanced at the woman in the suit out of the corner of his eye, wondering why she had come to Tan Garden.
After all, Danwon has always been a place where no one is allowed to enter.
Especially women.
Wen Ni only becomes restrained in front of Yu Guiwan.
She raised her eyes slightly and glanced at Jiangxi without any expression.
But for some reason, I could still feel the aura emanating from her.
Jiangxi was naturally not intimidated by this aura.
No one has a stronger aura than Jiang Yuhuai.
He was simply curious.
Seeing that he was not moving, Yu Guiwan put down the plate of cake she had just finished eating.
“Aren’t the flowers heavy?”
Jiangxi snapped out of her daze. “Oh, it’s quite heavy. Well then, young mistress, I’ll go upstairs now.”
Yu Guiwan nodded, “Let’s go up quickly.”
Jiangxi, carrying the two pots of flowers, strode upstairs.
He seemed completely at ease, as if he had nothing in his hands.
The butler watched his retreating figure, expressionless, “…”
Ling Feiyan drank a few cups of tea, ate a piece of cake, and then eagerly got up and opened her mouth.
The address that was on the tip of her tongue was swallowed back down.
Then, he changed it to, “Madam Jiang, I have some urgent business to attend to, so I’ll be leaving now.”
Yu Guiwan knew what urgent matter she was referring to, and nodded, “Take care, teacher.”
Ling Feiyan: “…Okay.”
She nodded to the group, then left with the folder in her hand.
The housekeeper still had the driver take her away.
Yu Guiwan propped her chin up, watching Ling Feiyan’s departing figure, her gaze falling on Wen Ni not far away.
Wen Ni: “…”
She reluctantly ate the last bite of cake and elegantly wiped her mouth with a tissue.
“Thank you for your hospitality today, Madam. I have some things to attend to at the company, so I won’t bother you any longer.”
After she finished speaking, she looked at Wang Shengye and said in a gentle tone, “I’ll leave that matter to Xiaoye.”
Wang Shengye suppressed the twitching at the corner of his mouth: “No…no trouble at all.”
Wen Ni smiled slightly, stood up, and said, “I’m leaving now.”
Yu Guiwan nodded lazily, then picked up the tablet on the coffee table, opened it, skillfully opened the software, found the playback history, and clicked on it.
A voice came from the tablet.
Wen Ni, who had just turned around, almost lost her balance. “…”
She coughed lightly, gripped her bag tightly, calmly walked out of the villa, and then drove away.
The living room suddenly felt much emptier.
The box that Wang Shengye was holding was placed on the sofa next to him.
He dared not put it on the ground.
“Wan… Sister Wan, this thing…”
Yu Guiwan glanced up briefly and said, “Let’s leave it there for now. I’ll move it up later. Thanks for your help.”
“No, it’s not hard work.”
Seeing that she was engrossed in watching the TV series, Wang Shengye didn’t dare to disturb her and quietly left the main villa, returning to the small villa.
The butler stayed nearby the whole time.
Looking at the obedient-looking Yu Guiwan, he fell into a state of existential doubt.
…
upstairs.
Jiangxi opened the door to the master bedroom, went straight to the balcony, and replaced all the flowerpots with the ones he had just brought up.
He had just finished changing when he heard the sound of a car driving.
Jiangxi paused for a moment, then took out his phone and sent messages in groups from all directions.
“I was just moving flowers for the young mistress. Guess who I saw in the villa?”
Jiang Dong seemed a little bored and sent a question mark.
Jiangxi replied, “A woman, a very beautiful woman.”
Jiang Dong: “…”
He glanced silently at the man in front of him, then typed, “Pretty as the young mistress?”
Jiangxi remained silent. “No.”
He hasn’t seen many women, but he’s definitely seen quite a few.
There really has never been a woman more beautiful than Yu Guiwan.
Yu Guiwan’s beauty is complex.
She looks like an angel, but Jiangxi knows that when she goes crazy, she’s more terrifying than a devil.
But strangely, it’s also beautifully harmonious.
“No, aren’t you curious? There are other women in Danwon.”
Jiang Dong replied after a while, “Ling Feiyan is also a woman.”
Jiangxi choked.
He didn’t let them guess any further, “The person I met today was Wen Ni, the president of Chenyan.”
These words were spoken.
They blew out the other two divers.
Jiangnan: “Who did you say? Wen Ni? You didn’t see wrong?”
Jiangxi scoffed, “Do you think I’d be mistaken?”
Jiangbei succinctly replied, “It’s hard to say.”
Jiangxi: “…”
“Why would Wen Ni go to Tan Garden? Did she come to see Master?” Jiang Nan asked.
“It doesn’t seem so.”
Jiang Dong thought about what he had just seen and shook his head.
“Chen Yan has been making quite a few moves lately.”
Jiangbei said something inexplicably.
Jiangnan chatted with him for a few minutes.
Jiangxi people aren’t very interested in business matters.
He left the bedroom carrying the flowers he had replaced, and even used one hand to type.
“Dong, is the master still not finished with the meeting?”
Jiangxi knows that Jiang Yuhuai is attending a shareholders’ meeting today.
A moment later, Jiang Dong replied, “Soon.”
Jiang Dong put away his phone.
Jiang Yuhuai rested his hands lazily on the conference table, his fingertips tapping lightly, as if he were playing the piano.
After one of the shareholders finished speaking, he glanced at him subconsciously before saying, “The minority shall obey the majority. There are a total of fifteen votes in favor of appointing Jiang Yao’an as a director of the board, effective immediately.”
The shareholders’ meeting can indeed appoint or remove members of the board of directors.
With Jiang Yuhuai around, the old master Jiang rarely interferes in company affairs these days.
This wasn’t the first time Jiang Yaoan had wanted to join the board of directors.
But before, there was Grandpa Jiang, who was the chairman and had veto power.
Why is it that Jiang Yuhuai can get in, but he can’t?
