Summary
I have no grand ambitions.
I don’t want fame, power, or wealth. All I want is a quiet life, a modest position, and a little corner of the world where I can live peacefully.
Unfortunately, times have changed.
The world is filled with deception, corruption, and a confusing mix of right and wrong. Somehow, people have even started treating the infamous 996 work schedule as something to be proud of.
That’s where I draw the line.
I have no intention of spending my entire life buried under paperwork and working from nine in the morning until nine at night, six days a week.
So, rather than accept this exhausting fate, I’ll take a gamble and find my way out of this mess.
Maybe becoming a minor official isn’t such a bad choice after all—especially if it means I can keep my freedom and live life on my own terms.
