“If they bully you again, call me.”

Song Fanxing stared at the plain-looking person in front of her. After a moment of silence, she finally took out her phone and exchanged contact information with Tang Sui.

“Class is about to start. I have to go,” Song Fanxing said.

Tang Sui typed a note for her.

Okay. Which class are you in? I’ll come find you at lunchtime.

Song Fanxing clenched her fist.

“You’d better not get involved with me. I’ve already gotten into trouble with those people.”

Tang Sui lifted her eyelids. Her thick bangs were really getting in the way—they were too eye-catching.

“Me too.”

What a kind little pitiful thing. For the sake of delicious food, she would take extra care of the protagonist.

The school bell rang. The restroom was left empty except for the damaged stall door.

Following the original owner’s memories, Tang Sui returned to her classroom. The original owner was a second-year high school student. In this world, students generally started high school at seventeen.

The original owner was eighteen years old.

Tang Sui lay on her desk, closed her eyes, and basked in the warm sunlight. Somehow, she now looked more than a hundred years younger, which wasn’t bad.

But she was so hungry.

She wanted another bite.

She needed human energy to sustain herself.

She was simply too picky. Until now, she had never found anyone she truly wanted to consume.

After transmigrating into this world, Tang Sui thought about that kiss and couldn’t help licking her lips. Just once had left her stomach feeling satisfied.

The more a succubus did with humans, the stronger she became. She didn’t pursue power—she simply wanted to stop being hungry.

Unfortunately, the protagonist was straight. Although Tang Sui had no morals to speak of, she disliked forcing affection on others.

If this one wasn’t suitable, she’d keep looking.

Surely there was more than one suitable person in the world of this novel.

The classroom was unusually quiet, with only the teacher’s voice echoing from the podium.

Tang Sui brushed her bangs aside, sat up, and poked the back of the student sitting in front of her.

The girl turned around, frowned, and glared at Tang Sui.

“What?”

Tang Sui asked politely, “Do you have any small rubber bands? Could I borrow one?”

The student looked at her with complete disgust.

“Do we even know each other? You’re so annoying. Stop touching me.”

She immediately turned back around.

Tang Sui blinked.

The reaction was exactly what she had expected.

Being hated by Fu Juezhou meant being hated by eighty percent of the students in the school.

She endured her prickly bangs until noon without anyone paying attention to her. She didn’t bother asking anyone else. Judging by the first student’s reaction, everyone else would probably respond the same way.

There was no need to waste her time.

Instead of staying here, she might as well go find her lovely source of food.

Tang Sui took out her phone and sent Song Fanxing a message.

Go to Classroom 305 on the third floor of Building C. It’ll keep you away from Fu Juezhou’s lackeys.

She stared at her phone for a while, but after receiving no reply, she put it away and headed outside.

It didn’t matter.

Song Fanxing would come.

The story hadn’t progressed too far yet. At this point, Song Fanxing had already been targeted by the protagonists and was treated like prey in a hunting ground, waiting to be captured at any time.

Because of that, the protagonists themselves weren’t in a hurry to act.

They preferred to remain aloof spectators and watch the helpless little animal suffer at the hands of others.

The actual perpetrators were their admirers.

The bullying could happen anywhere—the restroom, the woods, abandoned warehouses, sports fields, or anywhere else.

So the safest place was somewhere ordinary students rarely entered.

Tang Sui calmly stopped by the school store, bought a hair clip, and headed for the third floor of Building C.

Lunch break lasted from eleven in the morning until two in the afternoon.

Three hours was enough time for many things.

Meanwhile, Song Fanxing had already arrived at the place Tang Sui mentioned.

The classroom door was locked.

Unable to get in, she quietly crouched beside it and pulled a piece of bread from her schoolbag.

Only by carrying her bag at all times could she stop it from ending up on the ground, in a trash can, or thrown out a window.

As she slowly chewed the soft bread, she silently counted how long it would take Yu Ying and the others to find her.

She couldn’t escape.

Everyone at school was effectively their informant.

She didn’t know if she could survive until graduation at this rate.

Every year, the school awarded 200,000 yuan in cash to outstanding students.

Outstanding graduates also received guaranteed admission to top universities around the world, along with tuition subsidies.

She needed that 200,000 yuan.

She needed every opportunity she could get.

After finishing the bread, Song Fanxing crushed the wrapper into a ball.

In the empty hallway, the only sound was the rustling of plastic.

Building C was an old teaching building.

No students attended classes here.

She simply didn’t understand why the main entrance hadn’t been locked.

If Yu Ying and the others found her here…

They would probably torture her even more.

Even her screams would be muffled.

Song Fanxing let out a self-mocking smile, buried her face against her knees, and quietly told herself:

Just one more year.

You’ll get used to it.

After an unknown amount of time, footsteps echoed through the corridor.

Song Fanxing’s fingers tightened.

Her breathing became shallow.

Had they found her already?

Tap.

Tap.

Tap.

The footsteps drew closer.

She slowly raised her head.

Only one person was approaching.

The newcomer wore the school uniform.

There were two styles of uniforms: skirts and trousers, though both used the same khaki blazer.

She wore a gray pleated skirt that fell below the knees, round-toed leather shoes, and white mid-calf socks.

Her exposed legs were straight, slender, and almost dazzlingly pale.

Clutching her schoolbag, Song Fanxing looked up at the unfamiliar yet beautiful face.

“Tang Sui?”

She could hardly believe this stunning girl was the same dull, plain-looking person she’d met in the restroom that morning.

Tang Sui smiled.

“So you still came.”

Song Fanxing lowered her gaze and stood up.

“Either way, I had nowhere else to hide.”

Tang Sui walked to the classroom door, produced a thin wire, and inserted it into the lock.

Song Fanxing watched as she effortlessly picked it open.

She opened her mouth as though to ask something, but before she could speak, Tang Sui had already pushed the door open and stepped inside.

After blinking in surprise, Song Fanxing followed.

Tang Sui chuckled softly before locking the classroom door again from the inside.

“You’re safe now.”

She sat casually on a desk and smiled.

“Shouldn’t you thank me?”

Song Fanxing pursed her lips.

Her expression remained indifferent.

“Thank you.”

Tang Sui reached up and adjusted her bangs.

The thick fringe had been clipped neatly to one side with a pink strawberry hair clip, fully revealing her face.

Her long almond-shaped eyes were almost dangerously alluring.

“So cold, Fanxing.”

The intimate nickname caused Song Fanxing’s brows to knit together.

Ignoring the form of address, she carefully examined Tang Sui before speaking seriously.

“Thank you, Tang Sui.”

Tang Sui’s expression softened.

Her smile bloomed slowly like a rose in full blossom.

“So cute.”

Suddenly, she raised a finger to her lips, silently telling Song Fanxing not to speak.

Song Fanxing’s gaze unconsciously followed that finger to Tang Sui’s full lips before she awkwardly looked away.

Today was the first time they had met.

Before this, she’d only heard rumors.

Dirty rat.

Ugly monster.

Slut who seduced women.

People used every vulgar insult imaginable to describe Tang Sui.

Her situation at school was no better than Song Fanxing’s.

Outside the classroom, familiar voices echoed down the corridor.

“Yu Ying, is Li Lingxin messing with us? Song Fanxing isn’t here. All the doors are locked.”

“Yeah. We would’ve had more fun messing with that rat Tang Sui. I still feel embarrassed about this morning.”

“Shut up. Don’t bring it up again. Who was drooling over her? How desperate do you have to be to fancy an ugly freak like Tang Sui?”

Song Fanxing hugged her schoolbag tighter.

A trace of irritation flashed across her eyes.

Tang Sui gently swung her legs, looking far more relaxed.

“Why did Fu Qing even marry Tang Sui?”

“Who knows? Just remember to torture Tang Sui to death. Even if she dies, Sister Fu will cover for us.”

Their voices grew louder.

Then the doorknob beside Song Fanxing rattled violently.

“This one’s locked too.”

“Try the next room.”

Separated by only a single door, every word sounded painfully clear.

Song Fanxing breathed carefully and glanced at Tang Sui.

Even after hearing people casually discuss killing her, Tang Sui’s face showed no displeasure whatsoever.

After searching upstairs, Yu Ying’s group eventually came back down.

“Is Li Lingxin blind? Nobody’s here. She’s wasting our time.”

“Forget it. Let’s go find Tang Sui. I bet Sister Fu wants to teach her a lesson right now.”

“I wonder how ugly Tang Sui really is. Later let’s grab some scissors and cut off that messy hair.”

Their voices gradually faded into silence.

Only after waiting another moment did Tang Sui walk over to the window and look downstairs.

“They’re gone, Fanxing. You can talk now.”

Song Fanxing stepped forward, glanced at Yu Ying’s departing group, then looked back at Tang Sui.

“Thank you.”

If not for Tang Sui, she would never have escaped today.

But why had Tang Sui helped her?

She asked the question aloud.

Tang Sui licked her lips and sat on top of the desk facing Song Fanxing.

Her thighs rested against the edge of the tabletop, looking deceptively soft.

Her eyes remained fixed on Song Fanxing’s lips.

“Why should I help you?”

“Good question.”

“Would you believe me if I said I simply don’t want you to get hurt?”

Song Fanxing slowly lowered her gaze.

“I wouldn’t.”

“Tang Sui…”

“You want to kiss me.”

Tang Sui’s gaze was far too direct.

Even someone inexperienced could understand what it meant.

Tang Sui smiled.

The slight upward curve of her eyes was enough to make hearts flutter.

“Looks like you’ve seen through my little plan.”

“But I won’t force you.”

Song Fanxing gripped her schoolbag tighter.

She quietly studied Tang Sui, seemingly deep in thought.

Tang Sui didn’t look away.

The corners of her lips curled into a restrained yet strangely captivating smile.

Finally, Song Fanxing exhaled softly.

“Can you let me hide here every day?”

“…I can trade you a kiss.”

Tang Sui pointed at her own lips.

“I want more than just lips touching.”

As she spoke, she let out a quiet sigh.

Song Fanxing could clearly see the glimpse of tongue behind those parted lips.

Moist.

Moving ever so slightly.

Tang Sui was simply too beautiful.

The gesture felt almost indecently seductive.

Song Fanxing stared at her in silence.

Tang Sui withdrew slightly and extended one foot.

The tip of her small leather shoe slowly brushed against Song Fanxing’s gray trouser leg.

“You’ll have to use your tongue too, Miss Straight Girl.”
